BVC02 B. Voc. (Banking and Financial Services) 

The objective of this programme is to provide the students with a new prospect at the undergraduate level, viz. an industry-focused and employment-oriented curriculum.

Upon successful completion, the student will acquire relevant and adequate technical knowledge together with such professional skills and competencies needed in the field of Banking and Financial Services as Mutual Funds, Stock Markets, Micro Finance, Financial Inclusion, International Trade and Finance, Credit-administration, etc. for taking up gainful employment in this vocation.

The course structure is as follows:

Semester I: 

(I) Computer Fundamentals and IT (Compulsory)

(ii) General Elective courses (two) (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iii) Skill Elective courses (five) (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iv) NSS/NCC/Sports/Cultural Activities (Any one)

(v) Campus Activities

On exit after Sem. I, Certificate (Banking and Financial Services) will be awarded. 

Semester II: 

(i) English Writing and  Communicative Skills (Compulsory)

(ii) General Elective courses (two) (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iii) Skill Elective courses (five) (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iv) NSS/NCC/Sports/Cultural Activities (Any one)

(v) Campus Activities

On exit after Sem. II, Diploma (Banking and Financial Services) will be awarded. 

Second Year/Third Year:

Corporate Etiquette and Personality Development
Semester IV
Environmental Studies
Semester V
General Management and Entrepreneurship

(ii) General Elective courses (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iii) Skill Elective courses  (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iv) Campus Activities

On exit after Sem. IV, Advanced Diploma (Banking and Financial Services) will be awarded and on completion of all the six semesters, B.Voc. Degree (Banking and Financial Services) will be awarded.
