The course structure is as follows:

(i) Basics of Hindi (Compulsory)
(ii) General Elective courses (two) (as prescribed in the syllabus)
(iii) Skill Elective courses (five) (as prescribed in the syllabus)
(iv) NSS/NCC/Sports/Cultural Activities (Any one)
(v) Campus Activities
On exit after Sem. I, Certificate (Office Management and Secretarial Practices) will be awarded.
Semester II:

The primary aim of B.Voc. in Office Management and Secretarial Practices is to acquaint students with knowledge in the areas of Business Communication, Office Automation, Secretarial Practices, Office Documentation, Layout Management, Business Laws, etc. This programme focuses to impart exposure to industry-specific vocational skills and knowledge through various project work and Internships to make them industry ready.
What is B.Voc. in Office Management and Secretarial Practices?
B.Voc. is a full-time three years Bachelor of Vocational degree Course that students can take after completing their basic Education (10+2). It has a wide range of streams. It is more focused on the application aspect rather than the theoretical aspect which provides adequate skills that help candidates to have the relevant skills relating to office management. B.Voc. courses were introduced by UGC to equip the students with relevant skills and knowledge that could prepare them job-ready.
B.Voc. in Office Management and Secretarial Practice is offered after the 12th standard. It is an undergraduate course. This B.Voc. program focuses on administrative work like Records Keeping, documentation, Automation, etc. After the completion of this course, one can be able to find administrative opportunities in offices, and MNCs worldwide.
Though B.Voc. is a vocational degree programme, it is considered a full-fledged three years bachelor’s degree. B.Voc.. is a Bachelor-level degree specified by the UGC under section 22(3) of UGC Act, 1956, be recognised at par with the other bachelor-level degrees for competitive exams conducted by Union / State Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission, or other such bodies where the eligibility criteria are “Bachelor Degree in any discipline”.

Objectives:
This Programme aware students of the basic concepts and provide knowledge of all the subjects covered in this. The prime objective of this programme is to prepare the students with a combination of operational and managerial skills, which further can be used in any sector worldwide. It will provide job opportunities in the area of Office Management and Administration.
B.Voc. (Office Management and Secretarial Practices.) Course Curriculum-
B.Voc. Programme is of three years duration divided into six semesters. The course curriculum of B.Voc. is industry-based and contains about 30% General education (theory) and 70% vocational training (practical) components. This means that apart from studying the regular curriculum, all students need to undergo industrial training or project work for at least four to eight weeks every semester. This Programme integrates National Skill Qualified Framework within the curriculum to increase employability and meet the industry requirement. The students opting B.Voc.
