The Hospitality Industry is the largest sector in world economy which opens up tremendous job opportunities in the service sector.

India’s thriving aviation industry and that of countries abroad, offers bright and varied employment opportunities in the sectors of tourism and hospitality. BBA – Aviation & Tourism Management aims at providing inputs and skills to the students relevant to the business of Aviation and Tourism industry.

Time changes and so do thought processes. Keeping this conviction in mind, the Department takes the initiative to “REDEFINE” the conventional BBA programme, to broaden the scope of employment in Tourism, Aviation and Hospitality.

This application-oriented program emphasizes not only on subject-related courses but also paves the path toward the overall development of the students.

The eligibility to enter in BBA –Aviation & Tourism Management programme:

Students who have passed 10+2 examination in any stream (Science, Arts, or Commerce) from PUC/ISC/CBSE equivalent board or a course recognized as equivalent.

The course curriculum for BBA -Aviation and Tourism Management:

The student will study subjects as under: 

Core courses like fundamentals of Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Finance, Quantitative techniques, Business laws, Business ethics & CSR.

Specialized courses under Aviation Group such as Basics of Aviation, Aviation Safety & Security, Airline marketing, Ground Operations, Civil aviation laws, Cargo operation & Management.

Specialized courses under Tourism Group such as Tourism business, Impacts of Tourism, Tourism products and resources, Emerging concepts in Tourism.

Course Program Outcomes:

The student will be able to find employment in aviation, tourism, and related industries after completing the BBA-Aviation & Tourism Management programme. Students can start their businesses including travel agencies, tour companies, and other businesses.

Future Scope:

Students will get the opportunity to launch their careers in the tourism and aviation industries.
