The B.Sc. Honours in Multimedia & Animation programme is designed with the objective to hone the talent and creativity of students by augmenting it with technical skills in the areas of drawing, design, character animation and storytelling, using cutting-edge software to develop short films, series and cross-media projects. Upon completion of this programme, students will be eligible to work in the field of computer animation and graphic design.

B.Sc. (H) Multimedia & Animation First Year

At the first year, the structure is as follow:

(i) Semester I and Semester II: Proficiency in Drawing, Photography and Graphic Design

(ii) Core courses (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iii) NSS/NCC/Sports/Cultural Activities (optional)

(iv) Career Oriented and Skill Development Programme (optional)

(v) Campus Activities

B.Sc. (H) Multimedia & Animation Second/Third Year

The structure is as follow:

(i) Proficiency in 3D tools and techniques: Modeling & Texturing, Rigging & Animation, Lighting & Rendering.

(ii) Core courses (as prescribed in the syllabus)

(iii) Internship: Internship at an Animation Studio /Graphic Design Studio for 45 days at the beginning of the sixth semester.

(iv) Project: Showreel (portfolio making)

(v) NSS/NCC/Sports/Cultural Activities (Optional)

(vi) Certificate (COSD) Course (Optional)

(vii) Diploma and Advanced Diploma (COSD) Course (Anyone: optional-subject to clearing the certificate/Diploma exam at the previous level)
