DL01: DOCTOR OF LETTERS (D.Litt.) DLO2: DOCTOR OF SCIENCE (D.Sc.)
The University offers D.Litt. & D.Sc. programmes. Any Ph.D. degree holder, satisfying certain conditions of publication and research experience, may register for the same. More details, regarding the minimum qualifications required for admission, are mentioned below:
The candidate:
- Must hold the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the concerned discipline of at least five year standing, awarded by this deemed-to-be University or any other University/deemed University recognized by the UGC or a foreign University recognized by AIU; and,
- Must have published at least 5 research papers in standard/refereed research journals of repute (indexed in SCOPUS/WOS/ICI or included in the CARE list of UGC- approved journals, with impact factor of at least 2.0 as notified by Thomson Reuters).
Or
- Must have been granted 5 patents.
Or
- Must have made 5 publications of merit in the form of books/monographs/chapters in edited research-based books, published by international/national publishers of repute in the proposed area of D.Litt./D.Sc.-research.
Or
- Must possess a combination of the above, with publications during the last five years, either as the sole author or as the first author or as the corresponding author.
