Disaster Risk Rduction and Management

A six month credit-based course on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management is on offer introduced by the Discipline of Environmental Science.

This course is open for all the undergraduate students of the university. The objective of this course is to train the students on the issues related to Disaster Management.

The proposed curriculum includes elements of disaster related issues and will help to build knowledge, skills and capacity of the young generation towards disaster risk reduction and management.

The course will help to develop positive attitude among students towards practical response to different stages of disaster management by adopting sustainable development.
