The degree of Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) has been designed taking into consideration the requirements of the industry by focusing on a more practical, hands-on training rather than theoretical knowledge aiming to provide adequate skills required for a particular vocation.
UGC has launched a scheme for skill development-based higher education as part of College/University-education, leading to the B.Voc. degree, with multiple exits at Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma level, under the National Skills Qualification Framework.
